To measure steering input on a FR2000 you need this bracket and a rotary pot. Early cars did not have a bush to take up the end play in the pinion so use this bracket. It has a 2mm step in the back to take up the space between it and the pinion. Later cars and rebuilds from Titan came with a brass bush inserted, in that case use the gold bracket ( part 167 )
