The 0.5 - 4.5 volt output can signal to the ECU both up and down shifts enabling flat gearshifts and blipping downshifts.
1000N and 500 Newton, 6mm and 8mm variations are available. The most common version is M8, 500 Newton, 5 volt supply with left and right hand threads and this is normally in stock. All other variants are built to order and take approximately three weeks to assemble, test, calibrate, and ship to New Zealand.
Most of the New Zealand AP4 rally cars using these strain gauges. They are M8, 500 Newtons, with left and right hand threads sitting inline to the shift rod to the Sadev sequential gearbox.
